When I installed DNN several modules were installed by default (shown below). I’m not using these and just want confirmation that it’s safe to uninstall all of them. Would I also see a performance benefit if I do this.

Authentication
Banners
ContentList
Feed Explorer
Marketplace
Solutions

yes, you will see a minor performance benefit as dll's will be removed from the bin folder - read the wiki page to see some more detail - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Performance_best_practices.aspx . I would not touch "authentication" as it's how you log in, but feedexplorer/marketplace/solutions are all safe to remove (and the first 2 are obsoleted modules). Banners is a part of the core solution so you will see no benefit (as the code is within the core) -contentlist is the same (and is used when you click on admin/portal to show lists of options)
