Hello,

I activated page localization and have added 4 more languages. After pressing "enable content localization" in "language management", a window pops up and is showing the current status of the content localization for each language. After completing the first language (German) the process stopped. I waitet 10 minutes, but nothing happened.

Now only the English and German pages are working properly. Korean, Japanese and Chinese sites have not been created.

Is there a way to remove these 3 languages completey and than add again?

Hi Dominik,

Did you manage to resolve this. I'm getting the same issue with one of our sites.

Cheers,

Ian

unfortunately, I am not aware of any option to restart the process.

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for that. So the question then is why does my localization fail in the first place I guess. I've been testing this for several days and always seem to end up with only a small number of pages successfully being localized. This seems to be some sort of time out issue, but I'm not sure. This is CE v6.1.1 BTW.

The site is relatively small and I'm adding three languages.

I really need to find a resolution to this as the client is starting to get somewhat edgy about it - he wants his site multi-lingual for Christmas!

Cheers,

Ian

Hi Sebastian,

I have just tried this again, accessing the site on the webserver itself.

When I clicked the Enable Content Localization link, the pop up opened, and I clicked the enable button. The pop up refreshed and then more or less straight away froze.

In the event log I had the following event details:

/Admin/Languages/tabid/47/ctl/EnableContent/mid/365/Default.aspx?popUp=true&RadUrid=72a46173-03b7-4a24-9317-65391eb4ecde

System.Threading.ThreadAbortException: Thread was being aborted.
   at DotNetNuke.Modules.Blog.Business.InterfaceController.ExportModule(Int32 ModuleID)
   at DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.ModuleController.LocalizeModuleInternal(ModuleInfo sourceModule)

followed by

/Admin/Languages/tabid/47/ctl/EnableContent/mid/365/Default.aspx?popUp=true&RadUrid=72a46173-03b7-4a24-9317-65391eb4ecde

System.Threading.ThreadAbortException: Thread was being aborted.
   at System.String.Concat(String str0, String str1)
   at DotNetNuke.Modules.Blog.Business.InterfaceController.ExportModule(Int32 ModuleID)

The site has the standard blog module version 4.01 present.

I have now reverted to the my backup, but would really like to get this resolved.

Cheers,

Ian
