After successfully implementing a Login control on a page with a custom skin and logging in to an account, the Logout button dosent respond, it refreshes the page without logging the user out.

Has anybody encountered this problem before?

does going to mysite.com/logoff.aspx log you out (that's essentially where the logout link ends up via the ctl/logoff control)

I've written a URL-rewrite method myself, but it doesn't override an existing method.
the Login control is normally registered in the skin :

Page header:
<%@ Control Language="vb" AutoEventWireup="false" Explicit="True" Inherits="DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin" %>

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="USER" Src="~/Admin/Skins/User.ascx" %>
<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="Login" Src="~/Admin/Skins/login.ascx" %>

On page:

<% If (Request.IsAuthenticated) Then%>
|
<% End If%>
