Hello,
I've installed the source for the dnn events and i get an error
'DotNetNuke.Modules.Events.EventSignupsController' is not accessible in this context because it is 'Friend

Fixed it by signing Public in the class, but the problem is that it is still referring to the bin's dll.

What is the workaround to this? Is the instalation of the DNN Events Source getting something wrong?

Thanks!

Tried to add the DNN Events project to my solution and caught an error referring the Project.targets(6,5)

I'm using VS2010, .NET 4.0 and DNN Events 5.2

Any Ideias?

I've installed the dnntcmsbuild and still the installation of the source didn't let me change EventSignupsController.
I think the only way to work on the source of the events is to use it on another project in the same solution.
Is there a way to be able to develop it on the same project in which it is installed.

Thank you

The general way to work with the source solution is:
- be sure to have the MSBuild addin installed
- Create a fresh and clean DNN site
- Install the source .zip solution as a module extension via the host menu (like a normal module PA pack installation)
- Open the Events solution iin Visual Studio
- Confirm that you do not want a connection to CodePelx for source control, (remove source control from the solution)
- Check the references in your solution so that the referencing of "DotNetNuke.dll", "DotNetNuke.Web.dll" and "Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.dll" point to the bin\ folder of your (development) DNN website
- Try a debug build
