I've just upgraded from 4.09.00 to 6.00.02 and ironed out most of the problems. However, I cannot resolve the search scheduler exceptions I see in event viewer.

On the old site the scheduler ran for around 40 - 60 seconds then happily quit after a successful job done. After upgrade, the scheduler runs for anything up to 15 minutes before the throwing a 'Thread Was Being Aborted' exception.

Now usually I see this exception (in my own code projects) when a redirect took place. I also figure it could happen if the scheduler is restarted, but why would that be ... the server is definitely not onloading/reloading the web app due to excess idle time, and also the schedule is only set to run once per day so it's not the scheduler restarting before it's finished.

Anyone managed to fix this issue?
