Hi!

I'm new around this parts so I need help. I don't know if this is the right place, but I have to start somewhere

I want to make a site that holds a database in which registered users can add records. I also want to be able to get reports from that database.

I've seen the "form and list" and "reports" modules but they don't seem to be compatible.

Can anyone help me to find the right sollution?

Thanks!

DNN itself is a database (SQL Server) based CMS. The registration and user profile is extensible. Depending on what type of records you want to store per users and how you want to report on them form and list or a few other modules could work.

Can you share anything about your use case that might help better answer your question?

Certainly!  and thank you for the quick answer!

Basically i want to make a "company ranking" site, so that users (using a form) can rank and give their opinion about the company they´re working for or have worked for.
Then I want to query the database for results.
It's kind of a survey.

The ideia is simple and at the moment I don´t have the time to do it straight from code, that's why I turned to DNN.

Now, back to the original question: What modules would you suggest?

thanks again Steven!

Check out Property Agent from Ventrian.com. While it appears to only offer listings....it's very flexibly, includes customizable rankings, comments, template, etc.

Hello again,

I've checked out the Property Agent. It's preety good. It appears to have the functions I need.
Anyway, do you know of other alternatives?
