Using version 6.0.2

Would like to be able to have the last breadcrumb link (the current page) disabled as I feel it unnecessary to have a link to the current page on the current page..there is a blog post in seablick by Tom Kraak with a solution to revise the breadcrumb.ascx.vb file. However DNN 6 is using c# and I tried to revamp by adjusting to c# but was not getting it right.

Anyone know of a solution to disable the last breadcrumb link for DNN 6 ?

thanks

Hi Barry,

Not sure if you ever got an answer to this but I have just had to do the same thing and simply added a conditional IF to the /admin/Skins/breadcrumb.ascx.cs file which simply assigns a different CSS class if the objTab ID matches the current tab ID:

if (objTab.TabID == PortalSettings.ActiveTab.TabID)
{
strBreadCrumbs += "<span class='breadcrumbCurrent'>" + strLabel + "</span>";
}
else
{
strBreadCrumbs += "<a href=\"" + objTab.FullUrl + "\" class=\"" + strCssClass + "\">" + strLabel + "</a>";
 }

Regards,
Donovan
