Yes, i have searched for this and like always, not really finding what i am looking for.

So, let me lay out my situation real quick:
1.  Windows Server 2008 R2
2.  Installed DNN as Default Web Site on IIS
3.  All other website that are not at root of course are getting the asperror message when trying to access anything after http://DefaultWebSite/xxx <-- example

Obviously it's something in the web.config file at root that is causing it, because i can remove the file and the work fine.

Can i get some direction on how to fix this please?  Please don't tell me I should have not installed DNN as Default Web Site.

Thanks much

#3. I get an error message when trying to access other sites on my server.

http://www.website.com <-- works fine
http://www.website.com/ <-- doesn't work. I get the "auth/error.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/xxx/" error message.

What's the actual error?

How are your other websites set up in IIS?

For some reason my previous reply didn't work for some reason.  So, i will try again, so if there is a double post, sorry.<br /> <br /> When i access <a href="http://www.mywebsite.com">http://www.mywebsite.com</a> < - - works fine.<br /> When i access http://www.mywebsite.com/<something> < - - i get <a href="http://www.mywebsite.com/auth/error.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/<something>/">http://www.mywebsite.com/auth/error.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/<something>/</a><br /> <br /> Now, this website was setup in IIS before DNN was installed.  Yes, they were working fine.  Of course, every portal created as a child inside DNN works fine.<br /> <br /> I even tried creating a child portal and adding an alias matching the website created before DNN was installed, and still no luck.<br /> <br /> Like i said, i know it's DNN causing the problem, because i can remove web.config and then <a href="http://www.mywebsite.com/<something">www.mywebsite.com/<something</a>> works fine.<br /> <br /> Let me know if you need anymore info to get me on the right track, or clarify something.<br /> <br /> Thanks<br />
