Hi all,

Me and my partner are trying out the DotNetNuke these days. She set up the database and install DNN on her own machine without any problem, but when I tried to install DNN on my computer, connect to the same database and type in 'localhost/DotNetNuke', I got the following error:

A critical error has occurred.
Multiple controls with the same ID 'ctr' were found. FindControl requires that controls have unique IDs.

I never reached the installation page. Then I read the installation guide which said in order to have multiple instances to work, a qualifier needs to be used. So I changed the web.config file to include the prefix. This time another error said the stored procedure '(myprefix)_GetPortal' is not found. Feeling frustrated, I removed the line from the web.config and access the 'localhost/DotNetNuke' page. This time I was redirected to the installation page and all modules and other stuffs were installed EXCEPT the portal. As a result, even the installation was completed my page showed no pictures at all because the portal was not installed properly.

Can anyone help me on this? Thanx a bunch!!!
