Hi

I am using the DDRMenu which is easy to style but noticed that when using Client Resource Management the css file of the DDRMenu is not combined with other css files.

I therefore tried changing the DNNStandard-menudef.xml file to point to teh Skin.css file in which I added the relevant menu styles. Now the Skin.css file is not being added to the combines css file and furthermore the styles are duplicated.

Does anyone know why this is happening and if these css files can be combined?

Thanks

to be combined ddrmenu needs to use the new API methods - Mark was actually working on this at dnnworld so I expect it will be available soon (AFAIK he was working on a method for ddrmenu to detect dotnetnuke version and dynamically adapt to it)

You might be able to put the css in the skin.css and then not reference any css file in the manifest.xml.  That should work until a fix to DDRMenu comes out.

I have several custom DDRMenus that I do that with.  I did not want to have all the extra css files and it made more sense just to drop it in the skin.css for my particular setup.

This is exactly right. DDRmenu templates with bundled resources is an awesome thing, but if you really need the tuning in the short term I'd do some un-bundling and then once there is a new version that supports it you can bring it all back home again.

As of now it is not supported yet, mark did ha a working version at #Dnnworld that should be aviable soon.

In the mean time you can do the same as what I did for my skins just do the css loading using dnn:cssinclude and remove it from the ddrmenu xml files section  until mark releases his update
