Hello,

I received the following error after trying to create any Full language pack, English or other languages (DNNN 6.10).
See below:

Error: is currently unavailable.DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: startIndex cannot be larger than length of string. Parameter name: startIndex ---> System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: startIndex cannot be larger than length of string. Parameter name: startIndex at System.String.InternalSubStringWithChecks(Int32 startIndex, Int32 length, Boolean fAlwaysCopy) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Languages.LanguagePackWriter.CreateProviderPackage(PackageInfo providerPackage, Boolean createZip) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Languages.LanguagePackWriter.CreateFullPackage() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Languages.LanguagePackWriter.cmdCreate_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

After researching the error, I discovered that it is caused by WURFL DotNetNuke Client Capability Provider, when I tried to create a language pack for this provider.

Note: Using DNN version 6.2 works, because the WURFL is not present.

Jogi, it would be great, if DNN Corp. finally takes care of this feature, which has been broken since early DNN 5 beta, which is now for more than 3 years! It worked like a charme before (created by Viçenc Masanas) for many years, but all the numerous requests for getting it fixed have simply been ignored. This is VERY frustrating for us translators, who are spending a lot of spare time to create DNN language packs.

Cheers from Germany,

Luiz: We've applied the fix and will be available in 6.1.2. For now, can you please try editing your web.config (Please make a backup prior to the change). Find the line: WURFLClientCapabilityProvidertype="DotNetNuke.Services.ClientCapability.WURFLClientCapabilityProvider, DotNetNuke.Provider.WURFLClientCapabilityProvider" Add new parameter: providerPath="~\Providers\ClientCapabilityProviders\WURFLClientCapabilityProvider\" Can you please report back if this resolves your issue or not?
