Hi,

I would like to redirect the users to a specific page when they log in. I've searched this forum, but the only description I've found is to go to User Accounts, User Settings. However, I cannot find any place to specify the default page after login there, nor in the Site Settings. I'm using the community edition v. 6.

Can anyone enlighten me?

All the best,
Rune

Login as Admin or Host, then go to Admin --> Site Settings. Scroll down the page until you see "page management".
You can select which page users are sent to after login.

If you need more redirection capabilities than this... then I suggest you look on snowcovered.com - there are modules that allow you do more.
Have fun!

@Carol,

There are no redirect page settings in Admin-->Site Settings-->Page Management. Those are for setting the pages you want to use for Login, Splash, Registration, etc.

He is looking for redirection AFTER login, which can be found at the following:

Go to: Admin-->User Accounts

Hover over the "Manage" button and select "User Settings"

Select the "User Accounts Settings" .

About 1/2 way down the page there are options for:

1.) Redirect After Login
2.) Redirect After Logout
3.) Redirect After Registration

They will be blank by default, just select the page you want from the drop down.

Enjoy!

Sorry - guess I did not read the question correctly. Edward is correct.

Hello,

Thank you both very much for responding. It didn't occur to me that settings like that were behind the Manage button, but now that you told me it seems pretty obvious :-)

Thanks again,
Rune
