Hello.

I have been bugged by an error since ages. I have found finally a way to replicate it. The error is:

The process cannot access the file 'E:\inetpub\vhosts\website.com\httpdocs\Portals\0\Cache\Pages\97_ACABA51644A302FBB325E30E7931BAF8.data.resources' because it is being used by another process.

What i want is somebody that can try the method, and post here is he also has that error in his Events (as Host). That way i can rule out a Hosting problem and report it as BUG.

The method: Ping your website using this form and then check the events for that error.

at the top right (no need to enter your email).

thanks

These errors are ones that will happen from time to time, and a few isn't a big deal.  But if it is very regular you want to check a few things.  This is all due to the usage of the File Based Caching Provider and multiple accesses to the same file.

You want to be sure that you are not using a "Web Garden" in IIS, this is the most common cause that I've seen for something of this nature.

Also i'm using memory caching, are we talking about the same thing ?

Those errors are showing quite a lot. Since the first day i used DNN.
