We are trying to merge 2 sites together.
One is a DNN site and the other is another website on our own server (called ModernGov).

(basically we are hosting some content/pages and the non-DNN site will host some other pages and the user will switch seemlessly between the 2 - the reason for this is that the non-DNN site will host lots of documents and be managed by another system.)

The main challenge is to style the modernGov site (non DNN-site) to the same style as our DNN site.

I am calling my DNN css files globally in the non_DNN site and changing all the DIV classes too. - THis bit works ok.

however, can I reference these DNN scripts globally :

    <%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="STYLES" Src="~/Admin/Skins/Styles.ascx" %>

- I tried in the non-DNN aspx page, but it crashes (don't have an error messsage I'm afraid).
- It also crashes when I add runat=server in a DIV.

thanks in advance.

further to the above -
it's when runat="server" is entered into a DIV class that the page crashes.

and I tried referencing scripts like this:

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="BREADCRUMB" Src="~/Admin/Skins/BreadCrumb.ascx" %>
globally:
e.g. http://www.mysite.com/admin/skins/Breadcrumbs....

- but unable to do so (page crashes) - is this possible to reference these scripts externally and use them in another website?
