Hello.

I would like some help to disable for a while the client dependancy merge in 6.01.01.

I manually deleted that part from web.config but the DNN crashed. Apparently it needs more ...

thanks

Hey Costas,

You cannot remove the Client Dependency Framework features from DotNetNuke. They are now part of the application going forward. However, you can enable and disable file combining and css/js minification. These items are configured to be "off" by default. You should leave the clientDependency section in your web.config as you found it came in 6.1.0 or 6.1.1 to make sure the appropriate defaults are set.

Hope that helps,

Ian

I should also mention that I'd be glad to try to help figure out what issues you're having. Just let me know what you're seeing (any specifics would help!

@Ian - I just posted on the other thread about the Manage buttons not working.

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Forums/forumid/108/threadid/438499/scope/posts/threadpage/2.aspx

Should I repost my issue here since I think it is probably related to client dependency?
