Hi,

recently we  faced problem that cache item with tabs structure and tab information is not updated until we click on 'clear cache' on host settings page.

I've checked performance settings for the site. They are:

  • page state persistence:  page
  • module cache provider: memory
  • cache setting: moderate
  • authenticated cacheability: serverandnocache
  • compression setting: gzip compression

Any suggestions why it may happen?

Which DNN Version are you using?
Are you using default DNN Tabs module for managing modules?

thats odd, i've not seen any other references to this (and it would be a highly visibile issue) - can you please check and make sure you're not using a webgarden as that would be a reason why caching was not applying across all threads - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Webgardens.aspx (Im assuming youre not using a webfarm -if you are check your caching provider to ensure it's working)
