I have three sites, all using the same images. So I created a virtual directory outside mapped to an image directory that is in the portals folder. So far, so good. But...I don't see the files in the FILES table, even after a sync. So, I assume that syncing only works for files within the local portal tree? If so, how do I get DNN to include files outside of a portal tree?

Thanks,

Jim

file sync does apply to files in /portals subfolders only.

Thanks, but sync only work within the tree of a particular portal? I have .../portals/0  .../portals/1 .../portals /2, etc, and also .../portals/images

So, are we saying that DNN will not index/sync the images folder so that those file id's are available to each portal?

Thanks again,

jim
