One of my sites when i first started was installed with a 4.01 version, two years back i had a hard time upgrading through some intermediate versions up to 5.01, last week i patched it to upgrade to 6.01 the latest version.

Seems like  the upgrade went all fine, until today, when i tried to update one of the HTML modules that I realised was not really 'Updating' when i clicked on Save button after i changed some text.

I tried adding a new HTML module and then key in some text, doesn't work! No text would go into any of my html modules at all!

 HELP!!

Hi Suman,

That issue sounds like you are using the old FCK Editor. FCK doesn't work with DNN 6, you will  need to switch to another editor.

DNN 6 has a new HTML Editor Manager (Host > HTML Editor Manager) that can be used to switch editors (I use the new DNNRadEditor) rather than having to amend the webconfig file, and also to configure the editor toolbars.

Another option is to upgrade FCK to the CKEditor http://dnnckeditor.codeplex.com.
