Running 6.1.1. .Net 4.0, IIS/6.0, in a hosted service.

Was not an issue in 6.0.1.  Recently upgraded to 6.1.1.

For one of my portals, I cannot get the admin file manager to resolve.  Browser (Firefox 8 & IE 9) just sits and spins.   No errors are popping up in the log viewer.

Other portals on the same installation are fine, if a bit slow to launch their file manager.

The only difference with this portals is that it has significantly more files.  About 5 gb of Secure folder contents and about 300 mb of gallery images in a folder.

I've tried creating a secure page and adding a new file manger module to it - with the same results.

Suggestions?

Update.

File manager finally came up, but it was after at least 20 mins. I've told it to synch, and it's taking just as long.

So it is working, but just not in any fashion that you would want.

It doesn't appear to be a server side issue as normal FTP is very snappy.

As it's isolated to this one portal, I wonder if File Manager is choking some how on the large zips I have in a secure folder? Sizes range from 5 to 70mb. They are the only significant difference from my other portals.

The portal isn't running any modules that the other portals aren't.

try removing the zip files and redo the sync for testing (note: files will get a new fileID, when readded - i.e. links via LinkCLick and in some modules may need to be adjusted.

Rebuilding links for 170 files (organized in different document modules) is not something I planned for my Sunday.  Of course I'll do that if I have to.

Before I do that, it would be nice to know if other users have reported File Manager performance issues related to Secure folders?

Update to my update.

While the File Manager does eventually come up. It does not function. Attempt to view a sub folder's contents causes the file manager to churn for a bit, then just display the portal root file list, while the sub folder selected is highlighted on the tree menu.
