Without any other input or options we had no other choice but to fix this by upgrading to 6.x. Since this site was created and skinned in the 5.2 time frame, the upgrade involved quite a few hours of skin/theme adjustments and fixes to get the site working again for the client. Other than that, I just wanted to confirm here - for anyone else stuck with Razor Host unusable after 5.6.3 - that yes, upgrading all the way to the latest 6.x (6.01.02 in our case) does fix Razor. Note that you do have 2 steps; upgrade DNN and then manually upgrade the Razor Host module to its latest version too.

I'd still love to know what the trick (or mistake?) was for getting the BindingRedirect to work. I've used that before in similar situations and it has always worked for me. Thanks - Jeremy
