I have read through existing posts that seem to address this topic but I am more confused than ever as some posts seem to indicate that the author has succeeded in giving permission to a role so that a user who is a member of that role can post to an existing blog.  I even see posts that complain that the entry will always show as posted by the blog owner, which seems to confirm that it is indeed possible to give a role the right to post to a blog.  HOW?

We are using Blog V. 4.1.1 and DNN 6.1.1.  We gave a role edit rights to every blog module, but a user who has that role can still not post.  If we make them a member of Administrators, they can post.  What are we doing wrong?

We want to avoid setting up a single user who creates the blog and having everyone in who needs to post to it log in with that account.  We are using the blog more as an announcement module, since it provides support for permalink and printing a single entry.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Ravi

ravi, this module requires for every blogger to create his own blog and you may provide a joint blog view as well as for Blog on this site.
