I have just upgraded to 06.01.01 (from 06.00.01) following the video instructions (AutoUpdate=false). Tested on a local copy first (all ok), than ran on live site and encountered problems. When running mysite.com//Install/Install.aspx?mode=upgrade browser hung (no upgrade feedback), followed by the site itself stopped working. I restarted IIS and now everything appears to be working (host settings reporting 06.01.01).
How can I tell if the upgrade fully worked or if went half way and there are going to be hidden issues.

you may review 06.00.02.log.resources, 06.01.00.log.resources and 06.01.01.log.resources files inside /provider/dataproviders/sqldataprovider to validate, non of the database upgrade issues have gone wrong (files should be empty).

Thanks Sebastian, files are empty.

Is it right to assume that as the files were created the upgrade when as planned (i.e. if the upgrade failed along the way, there would be no files).

files are created during the upgrade, i.e. I assume, everything went well. But please check DNN eventlog as well and call /install/install.aspx?mode=installresources to make sure, all updated extensions have been properly installed.

Could not find anything in the event log. The /install/install.aspx?mode=installresources returns a status report (00:0Installing ...) for several items which I assume is ok. Don't want to waste your time further, so I think I will take as everything is ok unless something falls down other the coming days. Thanks again Sebastian.
