I installed dnn 4.03, with sql server 2005, in my shared hosting server. It works, but the first page tagke very long time (15 - 20 seconds) to load. After that - times are much better.
Other sites (manually created) on that server works just fine.

What could be the reason? Any ideas or things to check?
Thanks,
Ron

I have DotNetNuke 4.02 installed on a shared server at www.gate.com and am also experiencing a 16 second load time for the home page to display when it hasn't been accessed for a while. I would also appreciate any suggestions on what might be causing this. The web site is www.aoballoons.com.
