Our DNN site today all of a sudden became "Unauthorized" and DNN messages stating that were plastered all over every page.   When I logged in to dotnetnuke.com, it said we're valid through Oct 25, 2012.  However, when I logged into our site, it said we expired on Oct 25, 2011.  So I clicked the renew button and the issue was immediately resolved.

Why did this happen unexpectedly?  Is there a ~40 day grace period? Does it have anything to do with me clearing out much of the eventlog table this afternoon?

If needed, our current version is:

DotNetNuke Enterprise Edition

05.06.02 (144)
Thanks,
-Steve
