I have been having trouble adding the jquery datepicker to a custom module in DNN 5.6.3.
It keeps telling me:
Error: $("#dnn_ctr413_ViewAOC_Opinions_txtDateFrom").datepicker is not a function

It seems the problem is that it can't see the source files. But I have even tried adding them in with absolute paths and it still won't work. What am I missing??

In the ascx page:
<script type="text/javascript" src='http://itdpr-017/AOCHome2/DesktopModules/AOC_Opinions/ref/js/jquery-1.4.2.min.js'></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src='http://itdpr-017/AOCHome2/DesktopModules/AOC_Opinions/ref/js/jquery-ui-1.8.2.custom.min.js'></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://itdpr-017/AOCHome2/DesktopModules/AOC_Opinions/ref/js/jquery.ui.datepicker.js" ></script>

<script type="text/javascript">
    $(function() {
        $("#<%= txtDateFrom.ClientID %>").datepicker();

    })
</script>

Might be a conflict between jQuery scripts; sometimes more than one jQuery library is loaded and there should only be one. Refer to the following wiki post:

SkinTweaker can be handy for common jQuery UI problems on DotNetNuke:
