I'm investigating the possibility of creating custom tokens for the HTML module. Any advice or samples? Here is an example of what I'm trying to do:

 heading 1
headning 2
heading 3
 blah blah
[CUSTOM: RATE]  [CUSTOM:PRICE]
 bum bum
 static text
 [Portal:Email]

I want to be able to control the value of the tokens on another admin page. I can build that easy enough, but injecting custom tokens would be awesome

The rest of the text outside of the tokens needs to be static and editable.

I am sorry, but there is currently no option for custom tokens built in. you would need to modify HTML module.

Thanks Sebastian, I realize that it would be easy enough to duplicate the HTML module and use the core token class, link in the announcements and events modules, to create those custom tokens.

I as looking for some creative ways around that, i.e. razor scripts or third party options.

core tokenReplace is extensible, but you need to call your own derived class - which requires code modification (at least I don't see any solution to get around this limitation).
