I'm looking for an extension to DotNetNuke which is integrating to LinkedIn's API. I'm specially interested in getting the ability to download the users LinkedIn profile to be able to include the users Resume/CV in the profile in DNN.

Does anyone know of such an extension. I have searched both here and on Snowcovered, but I have not been able to find anything.

/Erik

Thank you Sean. I was actually more interested in finding someone who had been doing it before. But unless I find that right tool already, then I might come back to you.

Sean,

We're having a critical error occur each time we attempt to post articles from our DNN site to Linkedin. I just posted the quesiton up separately, but perhaps we could hire you to help us with this problem?

Has anyone else had problems with sharing articles or content from a DNN site to Linkedin? Any suggested workarounds? I've tested all the third party DNN modules designed exclusively for article creation (e.g. Ventrian News Articles, DigArticle) and they all fail to work with Linkedin's article sharing URL scraper. They also fail to share with Linkedin using social bookmarking utlities like AddThis.

I contacted Linkedin several times over the last year and they said it was a problem with the way http requests are handled by DNN and have no current fix for the problem. This is a major problem for us and will hold up purchasing DNN Professional Edition until a fix is made.

Best,

Will Jeansonne
