I am DNN 6.1.2 and when my users (who are part of a custom group) try to login. They are presented with the following message:

Please update your profile before continuing.

Upon clicking Update. The spinning loading circle shows and goes away, but nothing happens.. It does not seem to save and they cannot move forward.

However, all admins of the site can login perfectly fine with no issues.

What is going on here? How can I get this to work and have them login without the need of updating their profile. Thanks for any help.

This other thread may provide some help as to why it's happening and a possible workaround http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Forums/forumid/200/threadid/429557/scope/posts/threadpage/1.aspx

As to the profiles not saving, have you perhaps just upgraded the site from DNN 5 and still using the old FCK Editor? If so, switch to another editor as FCK doesn't save in DNN 6.

I used the workaround for the moment. Thanks for the tip!
