Hi Guys

Can anyone confirm that this is a bug in one of the core functions ?

 The function is in the class DotNetNuke.Framework.Reflection is

public static object CreateObject(string ObjectProviderType, string ObjectProviderName, string ObjectNamespace, string ObjectAssemblyName, bool UseCache)
        {

}

In the function above if namespace is specified as DotNetNuke.Modules.Store and AssemblyName is specified as DotnetNuke.Modules.Store the type that is about to be instantiated is DotNetNuke.Modules.Store.SqlDataProvider,DotNetNuke.Modules.Store.SqlDataProvider

 instead  of DotNetNuke.Modules.Store.SqlDataProvider, DotNetNuke.Modules.Store

I guess posting on thes forums isnt going to get me any answers. Its disappointing that DNN core developers are not that concerned about responding to their users regarding questions raised about their own code.

Never mind.

actually, we very much do care. However not all of us spend a lot of time in the forums so it's easy to miss things. For something such as this I think what you've done is fine i.e. post the problem (in case it's known/not an issue), and if you get no response post it to support.dotnetnuke.com for us to evaluate. I see you've done this (http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/V...) and 16 minutes later an engineer was assigned to review it.
