Hi

 Mike gave you a nice starter but for maintainability i would  suggest not doin ti in a text/html module but make it dynamic with a forms and list module ( if you know xsl you can do a template output that looks like mike's )

Than you would need to hide everything but the first item on  first page load and on click of one of the items hide all again and set visible the element that have the same class or index  that match the on you clicked. thats up to you how you want to do it.

You can use jscrollpane for the scrollbar
