Hi

I have a script to ZIP the DNN folder, but can't figure out to make database backup.

Anyone with a script to make backup from a script ? Or a script to copy the .MDF and .LDF files ?

Thanks,

How you backup your database will in some cases depend on your hosting provider.  You cant just copy the .mdf / ldf files.  You need to run a valid backup using ms sql.

There are a couple of products on www.snowcovered.com that do the job properly - do a search for backup tools there.  They do both the database and file system and package the lot up into a zip.

Westa
