Hi There,

Installed DNN community edition (06.01.02 (98)  and I notive the Portals/_default/Logs folder getting very very big - almost double the size as  the original whole site!

In there the are <Date>.log.resource files that just grows.  As I am logged in - it just increases?

I tired tp edit the following host settings:

Site Log Storage: Database

Site Log buffer: 1

Site log history: 0

Scheduler method = Timer

Auto-Sync File system: Not checked

How can I turn this off or at least control it?

Thanks!

what are the name(s) of the files - by default this folder should only get entries when the database is not available for exceptions to be logged there. However if you've enabled log4net then it will write it's entries there by default (though they are set to a certain size with rollovers) - see more about how to configure this at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/log4net-In-DotNetNuke.aspx
