Hi.

I'm new to DOTNETNUKE and has just started to learn how to create skins and containers.

I don't think it is a user friendly way to add an image in the html editor. Most of the editors don't know html so therefore it would be easier for them to have a separate image upload control beside the html editor. The position and appearance of the image should be set in CSS.

Is there any way to add an image upload control to a container when I create it or do I have to create a module for this?

regards Dan

Anything you add to a site dynamically is done via a module in DNN.
A container is only a wrapper for a module.

If you want to "hard code" an image, you can add it to the skin, but that means the user cannot change it.

If you only want to place an image, consider using the media module.
