The forum default is blue, I would like to change it to black or a dark slate grey.  I have tried going though the standard module options and read various posts on this forum and have determined that I am in over my head.

Is there a step by step way to change the color of the forums?  I have a friend that can create and edit css files but I need to have him get to those files.  The domain is registered under go daddy and we are using the free hosting of DNN.

Something along the lines of:

step one-

step two

step three-

would be what I am looking for.

I am sorry if I am sking this in the wrong section or I am wasting anyones time.

Thank you.

Hi, you might want to hold up on customising the current forums (and possibly waste your own time) as they will be superceded by Active Forums at some stage.

Actually, just to clarify, just discovered that it will be a new module incorporating the best of both the current forum module and Active Forums. And apparently coming 'soon'.
