TO DNN Community:

I am new to DNN and want to make sure that my SMTP settings are correct.  I have tested the settings from the host account and I do recieve the e-mail as the host regarding configuration test.

At this point there is no registration process in place, so the system will not be "accepting" emails.  But in my old asp website, I created forms that could submit information through the website and was delivered to particular e-mail address to our exchange server that we also host.   With this new site, the website resides on one server and the exchange server resides a different server.  So, does the e-mail generated go from the DNN --> IIS 7 --> exchange server and to my mailbox?  Is there an easy test I could try to ensure that if I create a form, the information would e-mailed to the appropriate party besides the host?

Thanks for all of you help --
Debbie H.
