My last post concerning the HTTP 500.19 Error omitted some information about the problem area in web.config; It;s listed as follows"

80:     </modules>

   81:     <handlers>

   82:       <add name="AJAX_ScriptResourceHandler" path="ScriptResource.axd" verb="GET,HEAD" type="System.Web.Handlers.ScriptResourceHandler, System.Web.Extensions, Version=1.0.61025.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" preCondition="integratedMode,runtimeVersionv2.0" />

Just make sure that you have asp.net checked off when setting up IIS in your development environment.

for WIndows 7 go to:

add\remove programs --> Turn Windows features on or off   (Windows Features window should appear)

browse down to "Internet Information Services" -->  World Wide Web Services --> Application Development Features --> check the checkbox for ASP.NET (allow the installer to choose whatever other packages it may need)

Click Ok

Let me know if that helps.
