Hi,

I need to upload  a ......flv  file  which has 3 MB size to my website.So  I added .flv file extension in host setting ,also I checked in my server for .flv mime type and it is there.

But whenever  I am trying to upload this file  i am getting error message as

File type flv is not valid in this context. Valid File Types Include: jpg,jpeg,jpe,gif,bmp,png,swf,swf,avi,wmv,midi,wav,asx,mp3,mpeg,asf,wma,ram,rpm,rm,mov,qt

 But My host setting File extensionslist showing following

 

swf,jpg,jpeg,jpe,gif,bmp,png,doc,docx,xls,xlsx,ppt,pptx,

pdf,txt,xml,xsl,xsd,css,

zip,template,htmtemplate,csv,flv,avi,mp4

Why this mismatching ? Please help me to resolve this issue.

In what module are you uploading this?

Some modules don't support flv files, as you cannot directly play the file, but need a flash movie (swf) as a wrapper to play it.
