Hi,

I have tried to upgrade to the 6.1.0.2 version from the 6.0.2, I did test it on my test environment and all went well. Somehow that didn't work on the live server :-(.

What I did to reverse the upgrade is restore the SQLServer database and restore the files of the DNN installation which I zipped before upgrading. (Complete set).

Somehow I can't get it working again, I only get blank pages (with standard empty html), even if I try to access a testpage from the root it will generate a blank page.

Anybody any idea on how to solve this, it's a DNN installation with 7 portals all with live sites.

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried recycling the ASP.Net application pool on the live server - either from your hosting control panel or making a change to web.config then re-saving/uploading it to the site's root folder to force a restart?

Last knight I found the cause of this weird behaviour, the file app_offline.htm was present in the root and the file was empty.. :-(. DNN uses that file when present.

Case closed :-).
