Hello..,

I'm using some kind of jQuery ajax and I'm in need to show error messages by javascript.

My Question: Is there any way to call DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.AddModuleMessage method in javascript?

any help will be highly appreciated

Thanks

that is a server mechanism designed to inject the page after a postback so not really approriate - i'd suggest you use the alert/confirm jquery plugins instead - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/loc/allpages/Cat/jQuery.aspx

Thanks Connolly for your reply,
but for user experience issue I need to use "AddModuleMessage".
I understand that it is a server mechanism, just I'm trying to find someway to catch html tags generated when a module message fired and inject those tags in the page by using javascript?!!

in that case i recommend you use ajax i.e set your modulecontrol to enable partial rendering.

I can't do that, because I'm using Callback technique !!
I need to call a javascript code that show the module message.
Thanks
