I have a client who brought this to my attention. It could be a setting I am overlooking but not sure... below is the host screen shot... this is what I can see logged in...

Below is what a normal admin account sees... why are the browse server and upload tabs not showing?

I am on DNN 6.1.2 and using the latest version of CKEditor (1.13.00) Thanks for any advice on this.

id recommend posting this over on the issue tracker at http://dnnckeditor.codeplex.com/ (I went to search and see if this was a known error but codeplex threw an exception so I can't see)

please make sure you granted view permission for the root folder of your web site (in admin > File Manager) to the users in question. Besides, I strongly suggest upgrading to CKEditor (dnnckeditor.codeplex.com) for security reasons - it also provides a powerful new file browser.

I am using that CKEditor... I found the issue... under Editor Settings under "File Browser Settings" -> Allowed Roles -> Administrators should be checked by default.

It was not in my case.
