Attempting to install DNN 06.01.03 (Community Install) Edition. Running on a single machine with the following specs:

OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise (64Bit)
SQL: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (Version 10.50.2500)
IIS: 7 (Version 7.5.7600.16385)

I get up to the "Configure Database Connection" screen.  I select:
     - SQL Server 2005/2008 Database
     - Server: local
     - Database: DataCentral
     - Integrated Security OFF (I supplied valid Username / Password)
     - "Run as db Owner" is checked

I get the following error:

Connection Error(s):
Index #: 0
Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider
Class: 20
Number: 53
Message:

I checked the following:
     - In SQL Server Management Studio: Server Properties > Connections > "Allow Remote Connections To This Server" (ENABLED)
     - Windows OS Firewall (DISABLED)
     - SQL Server Configuration Manager: SQL Server Network Configuration > Protocols for MSSQLSERVER > TCP/IP (ENABLED)
     - SQL Server Configuration Manager: SQL Server Network Configuration > Protocols for MSSQLSERVER > Named Pipes (ENABLED)

Help!

I have no clue how...but it's fixed. I changed "local" to "(local)" and it worked, this time. Initially, when the server name was "(local)" it didn't like it, but now it does.

I have no clue, but...it works now!
