Hi,

Please if you can advise me how to do this:
- I have domain let’s say mysite.com
- I add second language, let’s say German, and will have something like mysite.com/en-EN/... and mysite.com/de-DE/... (everything here is clear, I already have few sites done like this and its all good)
- But I want this: to make German default language and make it ONLY language, and to have site only with mysite.com

So, please how you would advice me to do this, taking in account that I would prefer to keep English of course (for any upgrades and so on, it will be easier to redo languages for German) and to drop that /de-DE/ bit.

I remember I saw once on some German portal that they manage that, and I can remember that they have in <html lang=”de-DE”> above the <head> tag in the source, but I cannot figure out of how to do that.

Please any ideas?

Thank you very much.

D

simply go to Languages in Admin menu, select "German" to be primary web site language and disable English. Make sure to use German as default language in all user profiles.
