Hi everyone,

I am having an issue with the announcments module in DNN6 and have tested this on 3 different installs just to make sure it is replicating.

Basically, when I add the announcements module to a page and select the checkbox to syndicate, then use the option to subscribe to the feed, I cant grab the feed address, which I need to add to the xml module to place the news on the homepage. A page tries to pop up but disappears (this is not a pop up blocker issue!)

Is there something I am missing, or a new option I must select in order to grab the feed address? Any help would be appreciated

Thanks in advance
Hayden

Hi,

I had the exact same problem on a DNN Professional site that I launched late last year.  I put in a support ticket but never got a response further than we are looking into it. I mentioned this problem to a couple ppl at DNN world and was told it probably had something to do with iportable or isearchable or something to that effect and that it would be resolved in a later release. In the end I  reluctantly abandoned using the announcement RSS feed.
