I have recently been informed that the site map I have submitted to Bing is not being found.  I am giving it the path www.mysitename.com/Sitemap.aspx.  Google Analytics picks up that path fine.

I noticed that Bing does mention it supports sitemaps in .xml format.  Is it not being found because of the .aspx extension?

Is there a work around for Bing submission?  Anyway to configure the Sitemap to display as Sitemap.xml instead?

Chris

I wish there was a way... anyone find this information. I have no clue why bing wont allow sitemap.aspx... pretty stupid Microsoft is getting VERY annoying instead of making things smoother and easier they are doing things like our Congress does things...

actually spoke too soon, last week they did not accept them but this week it looks like they are finally working... lol I thought this was an ongoing problem as all my sites sitemaps didn't work in Bing webmaster tools, but today they are working I believe.
