Just installed a new dnn 6.1.3 site. I do not see the blog module - it is in previous versions but not here. Thanks for any assistance with this.

"core" modules were removed for a number of reasons - see http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/B... for more details - you can easily add them via the extension catalog -http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/B... (theres also a short video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFkhAJ... )

I'm sorry but I still don't know where to find the blog module. In the Extension Manager the only AVAILABLE EXTENSION under Modules is Razor Host - nothing else is there.  Is this how it is supposed to be or should more modules be showing up? When I go to the MORE EXTENSIONS, and put in Blog in the search, I don't see the free blog module. Thanks for your help!

Hi,

Yes, that is how it is supposed to be.

You can download the Blog module from CodePlex http://dnnblog.codeplex.com/releases/view/69392

The search in More Extensions can be a bit tricky with the core modules but if you search for DotNetNuke® Blog in More Extensions it will display and you can deploy from there.

Check out the Related Projects pane to the bottom right of http://dotnetnuke.codeplex.com/ for all the core modules (or remember to add DotNetNuke® before the module name if searching for it in More Extensions).

Hope that helps.
