I am trying to amend some of our 301 redirects and while being able to update in some instances I am having trouble with some links.  When testing the URL the links will come up as redirection result as 200 OK or 404.  I know that the 404 is an error code and that 200 OK means the clients request was successfully understood, but when I try to update the link to become a 301 for SEO  (through normal method of selecting page and saving redirect only) it simply disappears.  The subsequent test of the URL will then be the original status code of 200 OK or 404.  Anyone know what I am missing here?
