I have one domain user that cannot log into DNN.
Other users can log in using that computer, just not that particual user. I've had them change to a password that was longer than 7 characters, and the account is not locked out in AD.   I've even tried deleting the user from the DNN database.

The event viewer shows this:

Any chance that it's locked in the portal itself? Though with deleting the user that shouldn't have made a difference. Or what happens if they try to login from a different computer?

I'm just making guesses here at this point because I don't have anyway of testing this where I'm at now.

I've had this happen before and the user signed up with a leading space.

Unfortunately by default DNN does not trim leading spacing, and possibly not trailing spaces for usernames.

Try putting a space before and/or after the username.  The user may have inadvertently added a space upon sign up

The user is an AD user, so leading/trailing spaces is not an issue.

Looking at the event closer, I noticed that the username is not even showing up but it was showing up before the account was deleted.

So is there anything at all I can test on this? It is becoming quite an issue because we moved all communication to a web portal and that one user cannot use it.
