I am trying to install a new community edition of 6.1.3 to someone I have never used before.  I have uploaded everything and when I go to the temporary location at http://www.sitecon.com/csa/   I see the error below.  Any ideas what they have set up wrong?  I assume it is a setup issue.    Thanks

Server Error in '/csa' Application.

Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File --> <configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="Off"/> </system.web> </configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File --> <configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/> </system.web> </configuration>

DotNetNuke requires at least .NET version 2.0 or higher. Error at your site looks like you try to run it on .NET version 1.1. Can you check in IIS what version of .NET do you use?

And sure it would be better to change in web.config customErrors to Off to see full error description.

Thanks, the host got that problem resolved and I just ran the installation wizard. On the very last step it failed with the error below. The site is currently at http://csa.sitecon.com/ and will eventually go to www.csa-marion.com when it is done being developed. Is it problem that he is setting it up as a sub-domain now when there is no other dnn sites on the server? I only ask because the last pohrase in the error is Boolean is ChildPortal. Anyway, any thoughts?

Error Installing Portal:
Error creating Administrator user account.Unknown UserCreateStatus value encountered Parameter name: userRegistrationStatus at DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserController.GetUserCreateStatus(UserCreateStatus userRegistrationStatus) at DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalController.CreatePortal(String portalName, UserInfo adminUser, String description, String keyWords, String templatePath, String templateFile, String homeDirectory, String portalAlias, String serverPath, String childPath, Boolean isChildPortal)
