SQL login failed signal, that there are not the correct SQL Server credentials in your connection string, contained in your web.config. Did you use upgrade package? is the SQL Server and database available?

Use your new credentials to log in to SQL Server to ensure they're correct. Also, make sure all information (server, DB name, etc) is correct on the DB install page.

I can log into SQL with the credentails and I tripple checked that I am using the correct credentails when installing, I have install DotNetNuke many times and never had this problem before.

I can get round this problem by selecting the auto install, which works but that uses the generic DB.
