Hi Guys,

I have got a strange problem here. Please help me.

I have developed modules to some website which is developed on DNN.

My modules are working fine on my local DNN.

On their website they have changed the entire logging functionality of the users.

By default the login information of DNN is saved on 'users' table. So, i am getting the users info on my modules as 'UserInfo.UserID' etc.,

In their website the user information is in another table called 'userAccount'. So 'UserInfo.UserID'  doesn't return anything

How do I get the user information after he logs in to their website ?

Please help me. I am in a lot of trouble now.

Is their site is DotNetNuke site? Can you try to check what returns DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserController.GetCurrentUserInfo() when user is logged in?

But anyway, if they made changes like described, then you have to ask them for documentation.

Hi Sergey,

thank you so much.

Is it quite normal to change the log in tables for users ?

I just want to know whether that company is trying to restrict others from developing modules to that site

However,  I cannot try that until one major problem is solved.

I have developed some DNN modules on my computer. I have taken the super user account credentials and logged to my friends DNN website which was developed by some other company.

When I try to install new extensions in that website through install extension wizard, I just dont see 'NEXT' button on that wizard. Without that I do not know how to install new extensions. I have tried to install some modules downloaded from DNN website. I couldn't even install them.

Is there a way that they have removed the ability to install new extensions ?

Could you please comment something on this one too.

Please go to the Host/ Host settings and check what version of DNN they use. May be they use old v.2, then it needs to use FileManager to install the module.

HI Sergey,

They are using version 06.01.02

Please tell me this thing.

Since they changed the login tables like from Users table to UserAccount table and I am unable to get user information.

secondarily I cannot install modules. So, the main part is that they have changed some core functionalities of dotnetnuke

So my module  no longer work. I have to develop them again.

So, is it possible for me to replicate all the changes they have made to core functionalities on my localhost so that I can develop on it ?
